Recycling Tour of CAWRA Nov 26

Ever wondered what happens to your recycling after it has been collected? Join us for a FREE tour of Central Adelaide Waste and Recycling Authority (CAWRA) and see first-hand how recycling is sorted at a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). Our behind-the-scenes tour promises to shed light on the fascinating world of recycling and provide you with an understanding of the processes involved with managing your recyclable material.

All participants will be required to adhere to safety guidelines provided by staff during the tour. Enclosed shoes, long sleeves and pants are required. Safety glasses and hi-vis vests will be provided to participants who step onto the viewing platform. Ear protection and masks can be provided upon request

Onsite parking is available at CAWRA.

Due to the nature of the site the tour is not suitable for young children.
