Annie Liao - Annie is the founder of Build Club, an innovative platform transforming AI education and creating a global community for ambitious AI learners. With a background in strategy, sales and AI, Annie has held roles such as Chief of Staff and Sales Strategist at a Series A AI startup, Strategy Consultant at BCG in Southeast Asia and Australia, and an AI-focused investor in early-stage venture capital. A skilled coder and fast-tracked leader, Annie was recently recognised on the Forbes Australia 30 Under 30 list.
Esmond Ye - Esmond is a results-driven leader with a track record of building and executing high-impact initiatives in both corporate and nonprofit sectors. As Founder of Generation Entrepreneur, he spearheaded efforts that reached tens of thousands of students, equipping them with entrepreneurial skills to drive innovation. Currently, Esmond serves in Gartner's double-digit growth Conferences team, representing APAC and delivering measurable outcomes through strategic events. With a leadership style centered on execution, resilience, and continuous improvement, he is committed to driving value and growth for organisations and stakeholders.
Shaina Singh - Shaina is an accomplished young professional. She is currently a Product Growth Manager at Canva. Former Strategy Associate at KPMG and was the Co-Founder & President at 180 Degrees Consulting at QUT

What kind of idea and projects can apply to Red Bull Basement?
Every idea is welcome – you can offer a solution for a pressing, unmet need affecting life in the community or on a larger scale. Technology and Artificial Intelligence may be the whole solution, or one part of it. Topics are limited only by your imagination, but to get started, think of: AI, ESG (environmental, social and governance) Innovation, Extended Realities or Robotics and Automation.
When and how do I apply?
The application window is open from August 1st to October 30th 2024. You can enter as many times as you'd like! We will take you through the application process through the workshop.
Can I work in a team?
A team’s application can be submitted as an individual or as a group of two participants. More team members can collaborate behind the scenes, but only up to two representatives can introduce and pitch the idea if the team is selected for the World Final.
