Description

This workshop series is a practical introduction to the REDCap survey management platform and is relevant to HDR students, clinical, translational, and health service researchers who want to learn how to use REDCap - a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases. 

Registration options

You may register for one or more individual workshops, or select the full five-workshop series.

  • Building Projects with REDCap | Thursday, 8 October 2026

  • Using Surveys and Longitudinal Data Collection in Projects | Thursday, 15 October 2026

  • Advanced Features in REDCap | Thursday, 22 October 2026

  • Clinical Trial Management in REDCap | Thursday, 29 October 2026

All workshops run online from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm AEST.

QCIF members may register at no cost. Non-members may register for individual workshops for $65 each, or for the complete five-workshop series for $300.

FAQs

What should I bring into the event?

This is an online workshop, so you will need to provide your own computer and have access to a reliable internet connection sufficient for video conferencing. A second monitor is highly recommended.

Chromebooks and tablets are not suitable for this workshop; you will need a full-function computer.

What prior experience do I need?

No experience of REDCap is needed for this workshop series. If you have prior experience with REDCap we would recommend you register from week 2 onwards.

Who should attend?

The workshop is relevant for all disciplines.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancellations are accepted up to 3 working days before the start of the workshop. If you do not join on the day without having cancelled beforehand, you may be blocked from attending any future QCIF training workshops.
