Live Music Red Den Saddest Songs Ever Written
Description
Laments on lost notes from old devices & the belief in the new & surviving ones. Solo Spoken word, songwriting & instrumentals exploring life, death, ourselves & the very expression of ideas.
"The saddest songs ever written are the ones that are never heard", with 26 year old 'red den' utilising production skills to shape loops & textures around songs & poetry to draw you into the words often lost or 'buried' in the mix, exhuming a body of work they themselves have had buried for long enough with Keyboards, Drum Machines & many (many) Guitars.
Bio
Justin has been a lifelong music fan turned player after meeting his favourite band at age 12, picking up the bass guitar a week later & playing ever since, going on to learn electric guitar, keyboard & basic music production throughout his school, moving onto study his Diploma of Sound Production later after playing guitar for Central Coast/Newcastle band Hand Models. Justin also found work after study as a Sound Recordist across the Central Coast for Independent Film Projects & has accumulated several credits on IMDb.
'red den' has been their post-study project, collecting the surviving scraps & the new ideas written down & tracked across the last 6+ years, also utilising skills learned from Freelance Composition Projects, including an original song for an indie video games Steam Trailer.
