We are running information sessions, to help farmers and landowners in the City of Greater Bendigo apply for the Rural Regeneration Grant. We would love to see you there! The City of Greater Bendigo Rural Regeneration Grant offers up to $2,000 to help farmers and landholders implement sustainable land management practices. Applicants can apply for projects that improve soil health, biodiversity, water quality or climate resilience.
To be eligible, the projects must be:
Located in the City of Greater Bendigo
Located in either the Farming Zone, the Rural Living Zone or the Rural Conservation Zone
Applicants must provide equal co-contribution.
Some eligible projects include:
Fencing off waterways from livestock
Protecting paddock trees
Indigenous plantings for shelter belts
Regenerative horticulture / viticulture
Moveable fencing and troughs for regenerative grazing.
We will be running sessions in Heathcote; Marong; Elmore; Bagshot; Redesdale; Raywood; and online. Come along to any one of them and learn the tips and tricks to write a successful grant application, or ask questions about your project.
