Redgate Beach Clean-up

Join us for a morning of coastal care at Redgate Beach as part of the 2026 WA Beach Clean-Up!

This is a free family-friendly event where we’ll come together to remove litter and marine debris from the beach, care for our coastline and contribute valuable data to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI).

What to Expect

We’ll spend the morning walking the beach and collecting litter and marine debris. The information we collect helps us understand what rubbish is ending up on our coast and where it may be coming from.

It’s a great opportunity to meet local people, care for Country and help keep Redgate Beach beautiful.

What to Bring

• Hat and sunscreen

• Reusable water bottle

• Closed-toe shoes (required)

• Pair of gloves (optional)

We will provide clean-up bags, gloves, tongs and sharps containers.

WABCU Sip n Sort @ Margaret River Brewhouse

On Sunday 18th October, 2-4pm, we will gather at Margaret River Brewhouse with volunteers who participated in WABCU in the South West to sort, classify and enter marine debris data into AMDI, with the assistance of Tangaroa Blue and Nature Conservation representatives.
