’The hidden health crisis – children’s cancer needs more than medicine’ - Launch of the findings from Redkite Family Needs Survey Report

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Redkite has been at the forefront of childhood cancer care in Australia for almost 40 years. Most recently Redkite undertook a comprehensive National Family Needs Survey to assess the gaps in support for complex psychosocial needs which extend beyond the hospital walls and medical treatment.  ’The hidden health crisis – children’s cancer needs more than medicine’  is a report that contains the findings of this survey. It provides a sobering snapshot into significant gaps that still exist in supports available to families going through childhood cancer.

The event is hosted by Georgie Gardner, joined by Redkite CEO, Monique Keighery and Government Health and Business Leaders. It will provide key insights into the findings, testimonials from the families and supporting statements from key health and business stakeholders.
