RedRoom Hackathon

RedRoom Hackathon is an overnight cyber security CTF event designed to test both your physical problem-solving skills and your technical hacking ability.

Kicking off at 3:00pm on Thursday, 23 January, the event begins with a physical, in-person CTF challenge to get teams thinking, moving, and collaborating. Once the sun goes down, the competition shifts gears into an all-night cyber Capture The Flag, featuring a range of hands-on challenges across multiple cyber security domains.

The hackathon runs through until 2:00am, giving participants plenty of time to dive deep into challenges, learn new skills, and compete alongside fellow cyber enthusiasts in a high-energy environment.

The event will be held at ECU Joondalup Campus, Room 18.103, and to keep everyone fuelled for the night, pizza will be provided.

Whether you’re new to CTFs or a seasoned competitor, the RedRoom Hackathon is a great opportunity to learn, collaborate, and put your skills to the test. Bring your laptop, your curiosity, and your stamina — it’s going to be a long night.
