Description

This month at Red Tent, we're challenging some of the expectations we place on ourselves as we grow older, and exploring what it can mean to embrace this stage of life with curiosity, humour and grace.

We'll talk about the pros and cons of ageing, the wisdom that comes with lived experience, and the ancient archetype of the Crone - the woman who has gathered knowledge, perspective and a deeper understanding of herself and the world around her.

I'm delighted to welcome Lynn Ahman as our guest speaker. Lynn is a Registered Nurse, holistic health practitioner and one of only two practitioners in New Zealand offering advanced NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback. Her background includes brain rehabilitation, along with advanced study in medical biochemistry, pharmacology in the elderly and mental health. Lynn brings both clinical expertise and real-life wisdom.

Lynn will share her knowledge of the brain, ageing and neuroplasticity, and introduce us to Neurofeedback and how it may support brain optimisation and the development of healthy neural pathways.

We'll sit in circle, share conversation, reflect, laugh, listen and explore what ageing means to each of us. There will be space for both the practical and the spiritual, because growing older isn't simply about what happens to our bodies or brains. It's also about who we are becoming.

The Red Tent is a space for authenticity, connection and healing. A place where we can drop the mask, speak from the heart and gather with other women seeking meaning and real connection.

Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning to a familiar circle, you are warmly welcome.

Come as you are. Bring an open heart, curiosity and a healthy snack to share.

Who comes to Red Tent?

Women from all age groups, backgrounds, beliefs and countries. Women ready for a shift, tired of the status quo, or seeking a deeper connection to themselves and others.

Spaces are limited to keep the circle intimate, so book early to secure your spot.

Venue: Rothesay Bay Community Hall, Cnr Rothesay Bay Road & Beulah Ave, Rothesay Bay, Auckland 0630

I am Fiona Tate, founder and facilitator of Red Tent East Coast Bays.

I made Aotearoa New Zealand my home many years ago. I am originally from the UK. I am a mother, business owner, trained life coach, and I have always been drawn to the holistic, spiritual, and community aspects of life.

I hold these circles because I believe women need spaces where they can feel heard, accepted, and supported.

I offer quarterly immersions at Seasons of Becoming for deep, intentional growth and expansive understanding. Not because we are broken or need fixing, but because we are human, and sometimes we are simply tired and we long for connection and truth.

Being in circle with women offers replenishment for the heart, the soul, and the spirit.

You are welcome to connect with me.

Red Tent East Coast Bays is part of Red Tent Aotearoa, a growing network of women’s circles across the country.

Membership is available for women who wish to feel more connected to this wider sisterhood and enjoy benefits such as reduced ticket prices at circles and access to Red Tent gatherings around Aotearoa.
