ACF People Power presents Rave for the Reef: A night of music and community to celebrate and save Scott Reef!

Dive into the deep for a night of dance, performance, and underwater magic all in support of Scott Reef.

For one night, Milney’s Upstairs becomes a reef after dark. Expect local Naarm DJs, immersive visuals, playful surprises and plenty of space to dance, explore and meet other people who care about the places we’re fighting to protect.

The reef is woven through the whole experience, from projections and installations to hidden discoveries, games and ways to get involved. Swim off the dancefloor and see what you find: a new friend who shares your love of turtles, an exciting action that will get our politicians to listen, or something completely unexpected.

Scott Reef is one of Australia’s most spectacular marine ecosystems, home to more than 1,000 species, including some found nowhere else on Earth. It is also under threat from Woodside’s proposed Browse gas project, which would put this extraordinary ecosystem at risk while locking in further fossil fuel development in the middle of the climate crisis.

Rave for the Reef is a celebration of what’s worth protecting and a chance to discover how you can help protect it.
