    Reflect, Reset, & Renew: For Healthcare & Emergency Services Workers - September23

    Take the time to restore a sense of calm following a demanding shift or triggering encounter! Healthcare Heartbeat's Reflect Reflect, Reset, & Renew program is a 2 hour group coaching experience tailored for healthcare professionals and first responders. Practices explored are designed to be used in the moment (such as in PPE or BA in the middle of a shift!) and aim to support with expanding strategies for how to effectively respond to challenging situations and interactions.

     Provides a space to PAUSE and check in with how you are feeling

     Learn how to begin the shift feeling ‘renewed’ instead of 'depleted'

    ♥️

     Increase your capacity to focus in the moment and transition from feeling ‘stuck’ to identifying how you can positively influence outcomes

    ♥️

     Establish a self-care starter plan to assist with forming more helpful habits

    ♥️

     Connect with other healthcare workers to share insights and maintain focus.

    This Reflect, Reset, & Renew session is facilitated by Katheryn Curnow of Finnbell Consulting, who has over 20 years experience working as an Organisational Development Consultant and an ICF Credentialed Coach, with a focus on wellbeing, inclusion and culture change.This is underpinned by studies in Positive Psychology and Applied Neuroscience with certifications in the Positive Intelligence Building Mental Fitness Program, HeartMath Building Personal Resilience Program, the renowned Work on Wellbeing assessment and iRest, an evidence-based form of meditation that has been shown to alleviate symptoms associated with post-traumatic stress disorder. Katheryn is passionate about supporting participants to develop practical, science-based habits so they can increase a sense of vitality, enhance their performance and confidently respond to stress.

    A portion of the registration fees for this session is contributed to not-for-profit World Youth International/Healthcare Heartbeat, towards building the mental fitness of nurses, healthcare professionals and first responders.

    Working with Australian healthcare professionals through Nurses In Action since 2005 has given Healthcare Heartbeat insight into the sector and the challenges that healthcare workers and emergency service workers face daily. Healthcare Heartbeat brings together a range of essential services to improve the mental health of healthcare workers and first responders. This includes training and coaching programs, career development, retreats, overseas nursing placements, and meal delivery services.
