Reflecting Sunlight: Albedo as a Means to Reduce the Greenhouse Effect
Event description
On June 30, Climate Resolve will be hosting a virtual networking event with a panel discussion about the role of albedo in mitigating climate change.
To raise greater awareness of radiative forcing benefits of cool surfaces, and the carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) quantification thereof, Climate Resolve wishes to invite you to a virtual networking event and 90-minute webinar panel discussion on “Reflecting Sunlight: Albedo as a Means to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions.” The following renown expert panelists will participate:
- Dr. Maria Hakuba, Jet Propulsion Laboratory
- Dr. Hashem Akbari, Concordia University
- Dr. Hessam Azarijafari, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- Dr. Ronnen Levinson, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Join us at 10:30am for an opportunity to network with industry experts and like-minded individuals. There will be another opportunity to network after the panel, starting at 1:30pm.
The webinar will be recorded, and the video will be shared online. In addition, following the event, we will consolidate the presentations and discussions into a whitepaper.
