Reflective Practice & Self Awareness - What Does Good Look Like? - 11th December
Event description
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of reflective practice and self-awareness and resources to embed this into day-to-day work.
Reflective Practice & Self Awareness
The Workforce Capability Framework sets out ‘what good looks like’ for individuals working in Queensland’s specialist Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence and Women’s Health and Wellbeing workforce.
The Reflective Practice Toolkit is a new draft resource, carefully designed to provide practical support for individuals and services to use The Framework for reflective practice and self-awareness.Â
The Reflective Practice Toolkit provides brief information about a range of reflective practice models, suggests practical resources, and offers tips for using them for individual reflective practice, in supervision or in teams.
We invite you to join us for this workshop where we will share and test the Reflective Practice Toolkit including exploring:
- What is reflective practice and self-awareness?
- Why is reflective practice and self-awareness important?
- Reflective practice models including Feminist Practice Reflection.
- Tips for using the Workforce Capability Framework as a tool for reflective practice, and;
- We will engage in reflective conversations using various elements of the Workforce Capability Framework.
Your active participation and constructive feedback about the Reflective Practice Toolkit will assist WorkUP Queensland in identifying how to best support services in using the resources as they are disseminated in 2025.
