Description
Here's a detailed course description in the same style:
Reflexology for the Nervous System – Kingston (Hobart)
Expand your reflexology knowledge and develop specialised techniques to support one of the body's most important systems. This practical weekend workshop is designed for qualified reflexologists and existing reflexology students who wish to deepen their understanding of the nervous system and its reflex connections.
The nervous system controls every function within the body, influencing movement, sensation, thought, emotions, sleep and the body's response to stress. During this course you will explore how reflexology can be used to encourage relaxation, promote balance and support clients experiencing nervous system-related conditions.
Throughout this practical workshop you will:
Study the anatomy and physiology of the central and peripheral nervous systems.
Locate and work the key reflexes associated with the brain, spinal cord and nerves.
Learn specialist reflexology techniques designed to calm and rebalance the nervous system.
Explore the effects of stress on the body and how reflexology may help support relaxation and wellbeing.
Discuss common conditions including anxiety, insomnia, headaches, neuralgia, sciatica, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and peripheral neuropathy.
Gain confidence in adapting treatments for clients presenting with nervous system disorders while understanding appropriate contraindications and cautions.
The course combines theory with extensive supervised practical sessions, allowing participants to immediately apply the techniques they learn.
Training is delivered by Tiziana, an experienced reflexology tutor who provides detailed demonstrations, personalised guidance and practical tips drawn from years of clinical and teaching experience.
Every participant receives:
A comprehensive printed course manual.
Hands-on practical tuition.
A Certificate of Attendance on successful completion.
Ongoing support from the Australian School of Reflexology and Relaxation.
This workshop also forms part of the Australian School of Reflexology and Relaxation Diploma in Reflexology and provides an excellent opportunity to update your knowledge, gain continuing professional development (CPD) hours and enhance your confidence when treating clients with nervous system concerns.
