What are "Reframe Sessions"?

"Reframe Sessions" are a Sydney based psychotherapy clinic that supports runners with the mental side of injury. Whether you’re an everyday mover or an Olympian, injuries can have a profound impact on your sense of self, relationships, and hopes for the future. Reframe Sessions are like physio for your mind; we work together to overcome fears, unearth strengths, and reclaim a sense of purpose in this time. Reframe Sessions at [mo]re than a run

The event: Reframe Sessions will be offering a small group psychotherapy workshop in Centennial Park on 30th Nov for any Sydney runners who can’t do the 10/30/60k Movember run because of an injury of any size or severity.
What to expect? The session will be hopeful, practical, and pressure-free workshops to reflect, connect, and reframe your experience. Led by psychotherapist and fellow runner Freya Bronwin
Who for? The Session is open to anyone from participating run clubs or individuals who aren't able to join in the event in the way they would have wanted because of injury.
Where? We'll meet in Centennial Park where the runners will start and finish, and hold a session there when the running is happening. The workshop will be an hour and we'll finish up in time to celebrate with the runners at 12!

Why are we doing this?
[mo]re than a run is all about bringing the global running community together to raise awareness and money for mental health via Movember. As runners, we know that being injured can be tough on our minds as well as our bodies. And with these experiences, a newfound strength, resilience, and wisdom often emerges. As a community, we can all support each other through the challenge of injury. So, come along and let’s reframe together.

The workshops are free of charge, but we request that you make a small donation (ie. $5) to Movember when booking the ticket.

Spaces in the workshop are limited in order to keep the group small. If you're interested, book your slot now. If slots are sold out, please sign up to the waitlist. If for some reason you can no longer make the session, please do let us know ASAP so that we can release your ticket for someone else.
