Refusal / Futurity Opening Event

Platform Arts is pleased to invite you to the opening event of Refusal / Futurity on Saturday, May 10.

Join Jody Haines and artists for a guided, pre-event exhibition walk-around at 3:15PM, or come in for the official opening from 4:00PM. Complimentary drink on arrival.

Attendance is free, but registration is appreciated to help us cater for the event.

From guest curator Jody Haines, Refusal / Futurity is a group exhibition of contemporary women's self-portraiture, exploring how the artists use lens-based media as a tool and mechanism to subvert the colonial, western and patriarchal gaze.

Featuring Eddie Abd, Hayley Millar Baker, Amy Carkeek, Pia Johnson, Clare Rae, Jahkarli Felicitas Romanis, Jody Haines(C).
