Join us online, 21st, 22nd and 23rd of Feburary and the 8th of March 2022 for Australia's first ever Regen Dairy Forum where we will focus on:

  • Making a Profit
  • Pasture based dairying
  • Soil, Pasture, Animal and Human Health

Learn from dairy farmers who are already successfully making changes to their farming system as they share their experience.

Facilitated by agroecologist David Hardwick, the forum will include special guests including regenerative dairy farmers Brendan Cunningham (Gippsland Vic) and John Hay (Riverina NSW), pasture and grazing specialist Dr Judi Earl and independent financial specialist Greg Bott.

Session 1 - 12.30pm to 2.00pm Monday 21st Feb 2022

  • Welcome - 5 mins
  • What is a Regenerative Dairy Farming system - 10 mins
  • Perpetual Motion Dairying - Join facilitator David Hardwick and farmer Brendan Cunningham as we hear how Brendan has transformed his farm and buisness to a profitable low input and efficient dairy system. - 60 mins 
  • Q & A - 15 mins

Session 2 - 12.30pm to 2.00pm Tuesday 22nd Feb 2022

  • Regenerative Dairy farming near Finley in NSW. David Hardwick is joined by dairy farmer John Hay and soil health coach Luke Harrington to hear how John has adapted his dairy to a pasture based profitable system using planned grazing, diverse pastures and biological inputs - 75 mins
  • Q & A - 15 mins

Session 3 - 12.30pm to 2.00pm Wednesday 23rd Feb 2022

  • Financial Planning - transitioning while servicing debt. Join David Hardwick and Brendan Cunningham along with independent financial consultant Greg Bott to discuss the key business steps you can implement to change to a pasture based, low input system while servicing debt - 45 mins
  • Regenerative Grazing and on farm feed management. Dr Judi Earl joins Brendan Cunningham and David Hardwick as we explore planned grazing and setting an optimal carrying capacity for your property based on on farm feed supply capacity (on farm pastures and fodder) - 45 mins

Session 4 - 12.30pm to 2.00pm Tuesday 8th March 2022

  • Steps to Change - Join David Hardwick as we explore the 7 key steps you can take to help transition to a pasture based, profit focussed dairy business.
  • Q & A - Join the general discussion with the Forum presenters to cover your questions.
