🍩 Regen Melbourne Street Party! 🍩

Yes, it's that magical time again — Melbourne is getting warmer, inviting us out onto our streets and verges and communities across the globe are marking Global Doughnut Days! 

Regen Melbourne has been part of this global celebration since it began in 2023 — the year we launched our Greater Melbourne City Portrait. Since then, we have continued to lean into what it might look like for our city to thrive within its social foundation and ecological limits. 

What better way, then, to honour this season - and our favourite model for an economy that puts people and planet first - than with a good old-fashioned street party?

This one's for all our neighbours in this work, and the neighbours we haven’t met yet: the changemakers, the quiet doers, the community groups, the partners, the collaborators, the people showing up week after week to nudge Melbourne toward something more regenerative. 

We know it's been a year (and it's not even over yet). Still, so much has been imagined, tested and built, often without much fanfare - and we want to pause and celebrate it all. 

And sometimes, the pause we need isn't complicated. It's being outside, together, with good food, good people, and maybe a little bit of dancing.

So, come unwind with us. Bring your own community — a colleague, a project partner, a neighbour, anyone doing their bit for a better future. Come eat, chat and boogie with us.
