Meeting point: Cape Schanck Lighthouse Carpark public toilets. It's a good spot to start from, as these are the only toilets on the walk.

Meeting time: 9am. We'll try to get away on time, so please message us if you are running behind.

General agenda for the day:

9am arrival
9am - 9:30am: Hello and brief introductions, to connect before we embark on the hike
9:30am - 10:30am: Hike to the beach
10:30am - 11:45am: Arrive at the beach and spend some time there. You're free to choose between your own free time, being in conversation with the group, or join Ashleigh for some guided reflection based on the season
11:45am - 12:45pm: Hike back, with an option for some quiet time on the return journey
1pm: Day concludes. If we're feeling up to it, we can head somewhere local for lunch

There's also an option to visit a regenerative farm in the afternoon, for those who would like to extend the day.

What to bring:

Clothes for all weather. We'll likely still head out in all weather, other than if electrical storms are happening or predicted, or if there is the expectation of any other unsafe weather for the terrain. This is also for you to choose what your preferences are here too. We'll advise closer to the time if we foresee this being an issue.

Water, snacks, sunscreen - anything that you think you'll need to help you feel comfortable and nourished until we return.

Journal - if you'd like to spend some time in reflection, or if you'd like to join Ashleigh for the guided reflection.

First Aid Kit - if you like to bring a first aid kit when you hike, we'd encourage you to do so too. Ashleigh will also have a small kit too.

Please note swimming is not advised at this beach, and it is not patrolled.
