Event description

Join Capricorn Conservation Council on Friday the 3rd of June at 5-7 pm at Yeppoon Town Hall for a screening of Regenerating Australia, the new film from Damon Gameau and the team behind 2040 and That Sugar Film.

Set on New Year's Eve of December 2029, a news anchor is ending the nightly bulletin with a look back at the decade 'that could be’. A decade that saw Australia transition to a fairer, cleaner, more community focused economy. The film is a construction of news reports and press conferences featuring real journalists, politicians, business leaders and citizens.

A story of solutions. A story of regeneration.

Everyone is welcome to this free, family friendly event. The night will include a welcome to country, local artists, food vendors as well as local environmental groups. We hope that you will leave the night motivated, inspired and ready to make a positive difference. Don't forget to use the opportunity of having our local environmental groups to see where you can volunteer in the future.

If you have any questions or want to get involved in anyway please do note hesitate to reach out to Katlin Tilly at ccc@cccqld.org.au

We look forward to seeing you there!
