Event description

Regenerative Agriculture

What concerns you most about industrial agriculture?

What would you like your local agricultural industry to look like?

How do you think this can happen?

Participate in a conversation about regenerative agriculture with Lorraine Gordon, Sue Lennox and other interested members of the public.

Lorraine is a carbon farmer who uses time controlled grazing methods on her farm in Ebor NSW. Lorraine is also the founder of the National Regenerative Agriculture Alliance based out of Southern Cross University and a director for the Australian Government's Farming Together Program which aims to assist farmers with various economic and environmental challenges.   In 2018, Lorraine was awarded Rural Community Leader of the Year for Australia

Sue Lennox is the Co-founder of the not-for-profit environmental organisation OzGREEN.  She is also the 2020 NSW Senior Australian of the Year.  Sue has a degree in microbiology and taught science for many years.  For the last three decades, Sue has used her scientific background to equip and empower communities to develop solutions that address a diverse range of environmental challenges.

During this one hour event, Lorraine and Sue will engage participants in a conversation about the environmental, social and economic benefits of regenerative agriculture.

This event has been organised in partnership with Inspiring Australia, the Coffs Coast Regional Science Hub and the National Regenerative Agricultural Alliance based out of Southern Cross University.  OzGREEN is a not for profit charity registered with the ACNC.  It relies solely on grants and donations to deliver its vast array of environmental education programs and events.

Please register for this interesting, interactive event and contribute a donation if you can.  We will send you a ZOOM link after registration.
