Regenerative Design for Life: Create your future now
Event description
We got sold a life where we if we work hard enough
we'll be okay
but the basic necessities of life - food, shelter
are just getting more expensive.
The work we do to earn a living
is becoming less human.
Our communities are becoming more divided
and we are becoming more isolated
Our planet is becoming more polluted,
forests are being destroyed
animals are going extinct
farms are turning to dust
Wars, wildfires, storms, droughts, floods are continually increasing.
Should we just keep going?
Or do we try something different?
There is another way to live.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
understand how traditional business and economics continually increase the cost of living
create a foundational understanding of regeneration, in relationship to extraction and sustainability
recognise regenerative moments in your life, so that you can begin to create more of them
identify your next steps to living and working a regenerative life in relationship
identify communities that you can connect with to support you in this journey
Regen Places Network
Regen Places Network is dedicated to creating the conditions for a world where both nature and people work together to create more life. We work towards regeneration to restore our connection with the nature, ourselves, and our communities.
Our mission is to enable individuals and communities to integrate regeneration into their everyday lives through community-driven initiatives, and collaborative efforts. By 2030, we aim to develop 20,000 leaders, creating a network of convenors and communities across Australia and beyond.
Bioregional Institute
The Bioregional Institute will be the home of the regenerative community in your place. It will take communities, industries, business, governing bodies and education beyond sustainability, in co-operative model partnership. It will enable regenerative action through integrated research and practice. These will be networked across the country, creating the physical homes for the Regen Places Network. Each local Bioregional Institute will be co-created through the Story of Place process.
