ABOUT THE PROJECT:
This project aims to introduce new ideas and technologies to help improve the quality of life of marginalised groups in the Redlands region. The project aims to improve the quality of life for these groups by helping them become more independent and manage their health better. One big part of the project is using smart technologies that already exist but customizing them to better fit the needs of these communities. We also want to make care more efficient and less expensive by using new technologies. We want to make sure these technologies are easy to use, respectful of different cultures, and capable of solving problems like loneliness and access to care. We will do this by creating a place called the Living Lab, where people can work together to develop and test these new technologies and ideas. By doing this, they hope to attract tech companies, researchers, and other people interested in improving community care to Redland City. This will not only help the project itself but also boost the city’s reputation as a place for innovation in aged care, attracting future investments and development. The project is all about using both existing and new technologies to tackle social and healthcare challenges.
