Regional Kai Resilience Hui, Food Forest Tour + Lunch
Event description
Nau mai haere mai to the Regional Kai Resilience Network Hui in Ōmanawa.
The purpose of this hui is to connect, share (resources, time, knowledge) and take the next steps for a "Kai Resilient and Connected Community."
We will tour a Syntropic Agroforestry Food Forest in Ōmanawa, followed by a hui and lunch at the beautiful Ōmanawa Falls.
Lunch will be provided by the rangatahi of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Te Kura Kokiri and your $15 supports their fundraising for a trip to Te Wai Pounamu.
10.00am Welcome and Opening Karakia
10.10 Tour starts.
11.00 Leave Food Forest and head to Ōmanawa Falls
11.30 Welcome, Introductions & Updates
12.00 Lunch
1.00 Closing karakia
