Regions Rising – SA Event

The Regional Australia Institute (RAI) is proud to present its next Regions Rising virtual event for 2022 on Tuesday 10 May. 

Regions Rising presents the RAI’s research to support the development and investment into regional Australia.

The RAI will be launching our next body of research, Building the Good Life: Foundations of regional housing. The report aims to help policymakers, industry and regional leaders established place-based initiatives rather than a one-size-fits-all approach to address the current housing pressures being felt in many regions.

RAI Chief Economist Dr Kim Houghton and the Minister for Regional Development, the Hon. Clare Scriven MLC
will both deliver keynote addresses and will be joined by panellists who will present case studies of regional housing solutions and regionalisation including:

Kelly-Anne Saffin - CEO, RDA Yorke and Mid-North
Anne Champness - CEO, Tatiara District Council
Robyn Verrall - Co-Founder and Director, Kere to Country
Matthew Woodward - CEO, Unity Housing
