Reiki Healing 2 Focusing on the Human Energy Field

The Japanese word 'reiki' can be translated into 'universal spiritual energy.' It is the name of a popular healing modality founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. Historically, many cultures around the world have similar spiritual healing traditions based on the innate human ability to heal oneself and others. 

Prerequisites for Reiki Level 2 are Reiki Level 1 and 1-and-3/4

1. In Level 1, students learn self-healing.
2. After Reiki 1, students embark on a 21-day selfcare routine, practicing self-healing. There is an option to also use the book '21 Days To Unlock The Power of Affirmations' by Louise Hay. 
   
3. In Level 1-and-3/4 or our post-Reiki 1 mini-retreat, we celebrate with a 4-hour spiritual exploration using drumming, dancing, writing and art in a group setting. 

In the Level 2 class, students partner up with different partners to practice assessing one another's energy fields. The Reiki symbols are taught and distance, as well as inner child healing, are demonstrated. Following the Level 2 attunement, students practice giving and receiving healing. 

After Level 2, students can follow a 21-day healer development self-workout using the book by Louise Hay, Mirror Work: 21 Days To Heal Your Life. 

To continue to practice and develop as a Reiki practitioner, students are encouraged to attend our monthly support group for healers and care providers, which is also a community healing 'clinic' for people who cannot afford holistic care or would like to try it out for the first time. We also have a monthly community healing drum 'n' dance circle for continuing support and community-building.
