Reiki Level 1 Certification - Self Care - Shoden

This is where you learn the foundation of Usui Reiki, which is from Japan, as taught by Juanita Martin, Reiki Master/Teacher and Energy Coach. This is the entry level course you will learn how to gather and share energy. You will learn how to Reiki your food, plants and animals. Not only will you learn all of the traditional hand placements and ways of treating others, but you will be assisted in learning to listen to the healer within. In this workshop you will be reminded of how to tap into this natural energy source. You will also get an energy mentor for life. There are 3 weeks of homework after this initial level. All materials will be supplied.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS

This class is available to take In Person at our teacher's location in Newark NJ, or online Virtually on Zoom.

IN PERSON CLASS

If a participant chooses to take the class In Person, then they are taking the class at our teacher's location at I’m So Yoga, 1186 Raymond Blvd, 4th Floor, Newark 07102. For In Person Classes, materials will be provided at the shop.

VIRTUAL CLASS

If a participant chooses to take the class Virtually, they will receive a Zoom link and materials for the class.

To receive your Kit in a timely manner, register at least a week or earlier in advance to reserve your materials for shipping or local curbside pick up. Please provide your shipping address when registering.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION

Participants must be at least 18 years old and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.

CLASS PARTICIPATION

This is a Live event. In Person and Virtual Class Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. There is no recorded session available for replay. If an In Person Participant is unable to attend the class in Person they can request to join the class Virtually and we can arrange accommodations. If a Virtual Class participant is unable to log onto a class on the day and time it is scheduled then it is the participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event for accommodations. If a participant is unable to join and needs to reschedule, there is a rescheduling fee that will be billed to the participant. If we as the organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.

INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION

If you live outside of the United States there is an additional fee to ship DIY kits. Participants are responsible for any duty fees, customs fees, or any additional fees associated with receiving their DIY Kits. If a participant chooses to get a DIY Kit it is the participant’s responsibility to make sure their country can receive packages from the US.
