Description

Slow down, unwind and reconnect with yourself and nature in the beautiful surroundings of the National Arboretum Canberra STEP Forest.

Together, we will walk, sit, observe, and move through a series of gentle intention setting, grounding, movement and mindfulness practices to support relaxation and wellbeing.

What to expect:

Drawing inspiration from the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing), nature and forest therapy is a guided practice that invites participants to engage deeply with the natural world through a series of sensory and creative invitations.

Rather than focusing on fitness or destination, these sessions encourage presence, curiosity, and connection to nature, to ourselves, and to one another.

What to bring:

Water bottle

Comfortable closed shoes

Clothing suitable to weather conditions

A sit mat (optional) - we will be sitting on the ground at times

Maximum 10 people

Your guide:
