What you may experience
Some people experience a greater sense of relaxation and presence, an emotional release, or feel strong physical sensations. Some simply feel clear and calm. All of it is normal. The environment is safe and supported, and you're in control throughout.
What you'll leave with
People often walk out feeling lighter, clearer and more present than when they arrived. Results vary between individuals, and breathwork is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
About Breathwork
Breathwork is an active meditation technique that works with the connection between the mind and body. By breathing in deliberate patterns, we can tap into the subconscious mind, surface thoughts and feelings that have been sitting below the surface, and arrive at a more open and present state of being.
It's different from traditional meditation. Where meditation asks you to sit quietly and observe your thoughts, breathwork gives you something physical to do with your body, which tends to make it easier for people who find it hard to simply sit still.
People who practise regularly often describe feeling clearer in their thinking, calmer in stressful moments, and more connected to themselves and the people around them.
About Breath Embassy
Breath Embassy was founded by Troy Nankervis on a simple belief. That most people aren't just looking for a wellness routine. They're looking to feel like themselves again.
Troy spent years working inside some of the biggest newsrooms in Australia and London as a journalist and producer, building a career in high-performance environments fuelled by pressure, adrenaline, deadlines and constant stimulation. From the outside, it looked successful. Internally, there were periods where the pressure was hard to manage. Breathwork changed that.
Breath Embassy runs small, accessible sessions for everyday people. No wellness background required.
Your facilitator
Troy Nankervis is the founder of Breath Embassy. He trained in Amed, Bali under Anthony Ball through Let's Get Lost, and brings a straightforward, accessible approach to breathwork. He's based in Sydney, Australia and is committed to helping everyday people feel better in their daily lives.
