Renewybeers – Sparks of Springtime

About this event
Please join us for a welcoming and casual networking event with change-makers in Australia’s renewable energy transition. Industry professionals working in the solar, wind, hydrogen, energy storage and emerging energy sectors, engineering students and future industry experts, as well as renewable energy enthusiasts are welcome to attend this free and informal event.
The event will be held in Newcastle, NSW, at the beer garden behind Jams Bar (8 Union St, Newcastle West) on the 21st of November, 2024. Proceedings will start at 5 p.m.; doors will not open before 5 pm.
Tickets are free but limited! Please sign up if you are sure you can join us!
Registration online is mandatory for entry on the night. Tickets will be provided on a ‘first-to-register basis’ and will be checked at the door. To avoid disappointment, we suggest booking online at the earliest opportunity.
If your company would like to contribute to the bar or food tab (not compulsory), contributions can be made online during registration and on the night. Sponsors will be mentioned and thanked in our reminder email sent prior to the upcoming event, and company logos will be displayed on the night. Sponsors of the previous networking event will be acknowledged and thanked in LinkedIn posts and the invitation to the next Renewybeers.

Getting there:
Sydney
By Train: Trains depart at least hourly between Sydney Central Station and Newcastle Interchange. It is possible to walk from Newcastle Interchange to the venue or to take the Newcastle Light Rail for one stop and alight at Honeysuckle, leaving just a short walk to the venue.
By Car: The drive from Sydney CBD takes less than 2 hours on the M1 Pacific Motorway. On-street parking is available near the venue.
Melbourne, Brisbane & Adelaide
By Plane: Several direct flights depart for Newcastle Airport. The venue can be reached from Newcastle Airport by bus or taxi.
Accommodation:
Several hotels are within walking distance of the venue and Newcastle Interchange.
