Rent in Specialist Disability Accommodation - Webinar

This event has passed Get Tickets

Event description

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is housing that has been specially designed for people who have very high disability support needs.

If you are eligible for SDA, the SDA funding in your NDIS Plan goes directly to your SDA landlord, but you will usually have to pay rent too.

Join this Housing Hub webinar to learn about:

  • How much rent you pay in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
  • How much rent the SDA provider may charge your partner, children or friends to live in your SDA home
  • What other services your SDA housing provider may charge you for
  • Other living expenses in SDA

If you are a person with disability who wants to know more about rent and other costs in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), then this session is for you.

This free online session is for people with disability, their families, and support workers. While support coordinators, allied health professionals, and support providers are welcome to attend, our Housing Hub Training sessions may better meet their needs.
