Event description

Join us in Commemorating a Historic Milestone.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II — a moment in history that changed the world forever.

Repat Illuminated: A Legacy in Lights has been created to recognize the legacy of our World War II veterans, and to honour the incredible work of the Repatriation Hospital (Repat) — a place that has long stood as a symbol of care and service to our veterans.

In preparing for this free event, we've had the profound honour of meeting and interviewing World War II veterans, hearing their powerful stories firsthand. Their courage, resilience, and reflections have left a lasting impact.

We’ve also captured the voices and dedication of the Repat staff, past and present, who have cared for generations of returned service members with compassion and commitment.

We are incredibly excited to share these stories and moments with you.

Join us as we remember, celebrate, and give thanks.
