Listening with Love: Meeting Conflict Creatively
Online Event
Event description
90 Minutes in your own space (on Zoom) to improve how you listen to others, and to yourself!
Why? - reactivity can challenge even the relationships we care about most. When we choose to lean in with love and use 2 ears to support our 1 mouth, connection can happen at a new level.
Jim and Valerie will be sharing some of the traps listeners fall into, and how to avoid those pitfalls. We'll also practice stepping into another's perspective and really hear what's important to them. This basic, but uncommon skill of caring for others needs and our own at the same time, is key to being able to constructively work through conflicts, and to collaborate creatively.
Come experience what it's like to practice with their support, and to discover where the skills of Nonviolent Communication as developed by Marshall Rosenberg can take you.
