Volunteer with NY Cares to Fight Food Waste

Come volunteer with TAP-NY for NY Cares to rescue food before it's tossed in the trash! We'll be transferring baked goods from a Union Square bakery to a local organization through Rescuing Leftover Cuisine. Rescuing Leftover Cuisine works to prevent food waste by engaging volunteers to pick up and deliver excess food from restaurants to shelters and food kitchens. 

Sign-ups will close Sunday, March 2nd, at 11:59 pm ET, after which attendees will be contacted with more details on registering through NY Cares. The exact location will be provided to those who are have their sign-ups confirmed!
