Research - Occupational therapists using VR - online focus group
Event description
Are you an Occupational Therapist using Virtual Reality (VR) in your practice? We need your insights!
The use of Virtual Reality (VR) as a digital therapeutic tool is rapidly expanding within occupational therapy, particularly for supporting older adults with physical, cognitive, and social rehabilitation needs. As the demand for innovative interventions grows, occupational therapists play a crucial role in assessing the efficacy, safety, and appropriateness of VR-based therapies for their clients. However, key questions remain regarding the practical adoption of VR in clinical settings, regulatory considerations, and best practices for person-centered care.
We invite you to participate in an online focus group aimed at understanding how occupational therapists integrate VR into their practice, the challenges they encounter, and the decision-making processes they follow when selecting VR as a therapeutic tool.
