Research Translation Competition 2025 - Information Webinar

The Research Translation Competition (RTC) provides cash prizes for research teams with a new idea that can be translated into impact.

The RTC is now open for applications from researchers across UTS. The winner will receive $75,000, and the runner-up will receive $25,000 to support their research translation plans.

Teams will be selected from their initial proposal to participate in four workshops in June covering IP basics (Jun 3), value propositions (Jun 10), business models (Jun 17), and pitch preparation (Jun 24). They will then participate in a final pitch event in July, where an expert judging panel will select the winning teams for the UTS prize of $75,000 and $25,000.
