Researching with the Unseen
Event description
On Friday, November 15, we will experience a Full Moon in Taurus. Taurus is connected to our values, our worth, and our relationships; and full moons allow us to release what is no longer serving us. What conventional beliefs about knowledge and knowing must we let go of in order to access deeper intelligence about ourselves and the world around us? In this three-hour immersive workshop, we will play with this question to explore alternative ways of knowing, conjured from the unseen and the intangible. Using anti-colonial approaches, we’ll rethink how we discover, gather, and interpret information. This session is designed to feel expansive and open, incorporating somatic practices and playful exploration to engage with the land, spiritual realms, and the unseen, inviting participants to embrace new ways of knowing that go beyond traditional research methods and the tangible world.
A note on accessibility and what to expect:
This online event will be hosted on Zoom and facilitated in English. Automated live captioning will be made available in English, however there is no ASL translator. Please note that this workshop will include a blend of independent and group activities that include somatic practices and deep reflection.
