Travel instructions

The South Australian Museum is located on North Terrace, Adelaide. The 'State Library, Art Gallery, Museum' tram-stop is just outside the Museum and the nearest car park is Wilson's Adelaide Central car park, 225 North Terrace, next to David Jones. There is also paid metered street parking along Kintore Ave and Victoria Drive.

Enter via the large glass doors at the front of the museum

Toilet location

Accessible toilets are located on the ground floor in the north-east corner of the Museum, accessed through the World Mammals Gallery.

Accessible parking

There is one accessible parking space behind the Museum, which is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. It is accessed through the boom gate on Morgan Thomas Lane (off Kintore Avenue). A valid disability parking permit must be displayed at all times.
