Our next online seminar Resilient families: addressing ACEs and cultivating strengths for a brighter future will be on 10 April (1:00pm - 2:00pm). Our speakers Julia Shadid, Child and Family Nurse, and Sarah Marsh, Clinical Nurse Specialist, from the NSW Refugee Health Service (RHS) will discuss how adverse childhood experiences impact on parent-child attachment and child development. This session will also highlight how embedding strength based approach in the model of care has enabled refugee, and families seeking asylum to be independent and empowered in their care.
