Long before COVID-19, uncertainty dominated many of our lives and professional careers. How do we cope with climate change? Which jobs will be automated, and what future careers will we embark on? How do we lead teams and self when our world drastically changes with little warning?
This talk explores the idea of resilience – the idea of gaining from disorder and ‘when things go wrong’. It will support a mindset and life shift which will allow individuals to embrace uncertainty to achieve a lifestyle and career that gains when things don’t go as planned.
Learn how to develop anti-fragility by developing 1) capabilities, (2) adaptability and flexibility, and (3) options. Learn more about the leadership skills needed for the decade ahead.
Speakers include:
Professor Michelle Ryan – Director, Global Institute for Women’s Leadership, Australian National University
Nic Radoll – Leadership Trainer, Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre
Jan Owen - Co-Founder AdaptabilityQ
Nazreen Mohamad - Founder, Open Promises
