    Event description

Gender based violence is a common and serious problem in Australia. Alarmingly, 1 in 3 people have experienced sexual harassment at work in the last 5 years.

We all play a part in creating respectful workplaces, where every employee feels safe and respected. As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence from 25 November to 10 December 2022 the City with Full Stop Australia are hosting a lunch and learn on Respectful Workplaces: prevention and response to workplace sexual harassment.

By attending you will: gain a deeper understanding of sexual harassment in Australia and its impacts; learn to identify jokes, derogatory language and behaviours which normalise sexual harassment; learn safe and practical intervention methods.

This event will be recorded so we can make it available to people who can't make this time, but who still want to learn.
