EmpowerEd is excited to introduce Rest + Rise, a new events series just for Black educators. We’ve been at the heart of education in DC for generations. Now, this space is just for us: to connect, kickback, lay down the mask, and celebrate each other.

Join us for our Rest + Rise kickoff, Swingin' Happy Hour, presented in partnership with CitySwing Foundation!

This event is especially for Black educators looking to build community with one another-- and we cannot wait to get to know each other. So come hang out, enjoy some good food and drinks, play a little indoor golf (no experience necessary!) and vibe. 

First drink is on us!  

Plus, CitySwing will share how you can bring their programming to your school for free.
