Restorative Justice Professional Development Hui Autumn 2025
Event description
This training is specifically designed for those working in the Restorative Justice sector. However, we have opened up the sessions on Thursday and Friday to those in related fields.
The theme of this Hui is celebrating diversity. Given the recent national and international political climate, many of us have struggled to maintain our optimism and equilibrium. We may wonder what can be done in response to the anti-woke agenda that seeks to erase diversity and diminish intrinsic aspects of identity. Although we are unlikely to find comprehensive answers to these questions during our time together, we will enjoy exploring different perspectives and discover ways to support people who may differ from ourselves.
As usual, we will take time to celebrate our achievements, support each other’s growth, revitalize relationships, and meet new colleagues—especially while sharing delicious kai. We look forward to seeing everyone in beautiful, tranquil Tai Tapu.
