Dr. Klages has over thirty years of extensive experience in both mental health and academic environments in Canada and Australia. Her areas of specialization include trauma-informed care, which focuses on understanding the impact of trauma on individuals; post-traumatic growth, which examines the positive psychological changes that can occur after facing adversity; and compassion satisfaction, the sense of fulfillment derived from helping others, especially in challenging situations. Dr. Klages has significantly contributed to the field through numerous publications in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and has shared her insights as a speaker at various international conferences. Her work has advanced the understanding and application of restorative practices for healthcare professionals.
