    Event description

Restorative Storytellingâ„¢ is a form of conscious, deeply intuitive communication that can be used to create, heal and strengthen classrooms, families and communities. This introductory course has been specifically designed for parents, educators and professionals who want to explore the power of storytelling and nature as a tool for connection, whether it is with their children, students, customers or community.

In an intimate, supportive environment you will be gently guided to:

    • Explore the hidden powers in your voice and gestures.
    • Use simple mindfulness practices in nature to practice embodiment and awaken your senses and observation skills.
    • Expand your imagination as we follow the golden threads of the stories unfolding in our natural environment.
    • Let yourself become invisible and move into a space of emergent—unexpected and inspired, intuitive and spontaneous storytelling.
    • The outdoors, as expansive as it is, is a place of contained magic. We learn to work within a story container and an energetic container.

Attendees will have the opportunity to craft and practise their own nature stories, gaining skills and confidence to use some fundamental Restorative Storytellingâ„¢ practices in their life and workplace.

    No previous storytelling experience required.

Simple, wholesome refreshments consisting of native tea, bush tucker and fresh fruit will be provided.
