Retail Trainee Graduation. Celebrate our Trainees!

Join us on Thursday 12th December for this exciting community event to celebrate the achievements of our latest cohort of The Social Outfit's Retail Trainees! 

As our final cohort of our 10th year, we wish to invite you to join our celebration of the achievements of Zahra, Madina, Sara and Suraiya. 

The Social Outfit’s retail training and job readiness program offers a unique paid 3-month traineeship in retail customer service at our flagship store in Newtown, Sydney. Trainees' in-store work experience is enhanced with one-on-one mentoring and a 12 module training course delivered through our online school, plus industry excursions and pre-employment training.

Our trainees are from refugee and humanitarian migrant backgrounds, all in their first Australian job. 

At this event, you will hear from our graduating trainees about their experiences in the program, their goals for the future and cheer them on as they continue their career in Australia... because work empowers women. 

ABOUT THE SOCIAL OUTFIT: We are a fashion label with a difference providing employment and training in the fashion industry to people from refugee and new migrant communities in clothing production, retail, design and marketing.
