RETRO is a new band on the live music scene in Nelson,however it’s

four members are anything but new to live music.

Denny Allen, Hadyn Olson, Murray Poulter and Wozza Houston are

four fifths of the hugely popular Blues band JUKEJOINT and have now

formed RETRO to break free from the shackles of the blues and belt

out the R&B and Rock and Roll dance hits of the 60’s and 70’s which

they all grew up with and love playing.

The Beatles,Rolling Stones,ZZ Top,Doobie Bros.,Elvis are just some of

the artists that RETRO draw their repertoire from and the songs all

have one more thing in common – a danceable beat! And words that

everyone remembers and can sing along to.
