🌹 THE HERSTORY BEHIND IT:

In ancient cultures across the world, women would gather during their bleeding time, not to be cast out, but to be revered. These spaces were known by many names: the Red Tent, the Moon Lodge, the Women’s Hut.

They were sacred sanctuaries for bleeding women to rest, bleed freely, be nourished, and share stories. They were places of deep wisdom, where grandmothers, mothers, daughters, and sisters passed down teachings, initiated each other, and bled onto the earth in devotion.

But over time, as patriarchy took root, these spaces were erased. The blood became dirty. The rest became laziness. The gathering of women became a threat.

But we are remembering now.

Return To The Tent is a reclamation.

It is a return to what we once knew:

A reminder that there is power in our pause.

There is magic in our blood.

And when women gather in softness and in truth, we remember who we are.

The Return To The Tent speaks to that liminal space between worlds, between phases, between maiden, mother & wise woman, between the inner and outer realm. It’s the symbolic and energetic threshold we cross when we choose to honour our cycles and sit together in sacred ceremony.
