Permaculture has always been about more than growing food. It offers ways to design human settlements that work with nature, share resources, strengthen local skills and build relationships that help communities adapt through disruption.

As we face increasing heat, fire, floods, food insecurity and social isolation, what might it mean to “return to the village” — not by going backwards, but by creating a more connected and regenerative future?

We’ll explore practical examples, ideas and questions for rebuilding community capacity and resilience wherever we live.
