Course Outline:
This course is recommended for participants who have completed our Return to Work Scheme Essentials course or who possess an in-depth knowledge of the South Australian Return to Work scheme.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this training, the participants should have a good idea of how best to lodge a claim and manage a successful recovery and return to work. They should have a good understanding of what it takes to determine a claim, the importance of offering suitable duties and being supportive during the process, a clear understanding of both the workers and employers obligations under the Act 9including section 18), what benefits an employer can received under the RISE incentive program and TI program, how a lawful discontinuance can be made, what occurs during the dispute process and a little insight on what is happening in the South Australian Tribunal at the moment (trends) and what EML offer under Mutual Benefits.

About the trainer: Leila Obeid, Key Account Manager
Leila Obeid has been with EML for 12 years. Prior to commencing as the Key Account Manager, she was a Mobile Claims Specialist. She has undertaken many roles at EML which include Liability, managing the working director cohort and working within the labour hire industry to achieve sustainable recovery and return to work outcomes. She is also the Fraud Liaison Officer at EML.
